Anthony Rodia Talks Uncle Vinny, Zia Lucia & Performing Live In A Covid-19 World

Thursday, October 22nd

In just a couple of years, Anthony Rodia’s comedy & his “Uncle Vinny” & “Zia Lucia” characters have attracted an audience of over 700,000 social media followers and 35 million video views on social media!

The New Rochelle native is selling out shows nationwide & the 1st generation Italian has quietly claimed the throne of “King Of Off The Boat Comedy,” but he tells Scott & Patty his dad doesn’t like that term!

“He jumps down my throat!” Anthony says, “he goes, oh! I flew here Alitalia!”

Anthony has an exciting few months left of 2020 coming up but 2021 is slated to be the best year yet for him. He’s excited to have a lot of first time visitors to his standup shows, and he says he has to be funnier in person than online.

“It’s totally different” Anthony says, “it’s straight stand up comedy, it’s a lot of stories about growing up.”

Anthony is impressed with all of the venue's COVID-19 preparedness and says his shows are safe with social distancing and other safety measures being strictly enforced.

He’s got a bunch of shows lined up in the area!
October 16th & 17th he plays the Atlantic City Comedy Club at the Claridge Hotel.
November 15th to the 17th at the Stress Factory Comedy Club in New Brunswick.
November 21st & 22nd at the Avenal Performing Arts Center in Avenal, NJ.
