RIP Burt Reynolds: Celebrities React To the Death of a Legend

You know him from Smokey and the Bandit, Deliverance, The Cannonball Run, Boogie Nights, and The Longest Yard (among countless other film and TV appearances), not to mention the prize of so many women's eyes -- Mr Burt Reynolds -- the man, the myth, the legend has passed away today at the age of 82.

Suffering for a number of years from heart problems, the actor's family has confirmed to RadarOnline that he passed away in a Florida hospital from cardiac arrest.

Reynolds is survived by his only son, 29-year-old Quinton, whom he and ex wife Loni Anderson adopted when he was only three-days-old.

A sad day, my friend BURT REYNOLDS Has passed away. I remember him back in 1979, he always reminded me that I should’ve cast him as Colonel Trautman in FIRST BLOOD , I said that’s impossible, because you’re too expensive and too famous, and probably tougher than Rambo ! He laughed , He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed his company so much... RIP
