'Long Shot' is the latest film from the producing team of Seth Rogen and his childhood buddy Evan Goldberg. Also driving this force is superstar actress and producer Charlize Theron. This film sees Seth Rogen playing a loserish journalist where he has a chance encounter with his childhood babysitter who is not fully grown, super beautiful, the Secretary of State all played by Charlize Theron. As they get re-acquainted the comedy and romance begins. I caught up with them at the New York Premiere where I donned the exact jacket Seth’s character, Fred Flansky wore throughout the movie. I thought that would ensure a more uplifting chat with this superstar duo as they walked the red carpet.

As you will see in this interview there was an abrupt ending to my upbeat positivity!

Luckily I caught up with Seth and Charlize at the SXSW Festival in Austin in early March where they were more talkative and we covered what the movie was about. The movie premiered in Austin to fantastic reviews where Boyz 2 Men surprised the audience with a concert. Charlize couldn’t get enough of it that night dancing with the band on stage in front of the crowd of 500 moviegoers.

'Long Shot' is in theaters Friday and if you want a hilarious romantic comedy -- this is the movie for you. Even if they were a bit subdued when I chatted to them in New York City on Tuesday night!
