Born in Brooklyn and raised in Merrick, Long Island, singer Debbie Gibson now resides in Las Vegas and is watching the coronavirus pandemic unfold here from afar.

While infection rates in Nevada pale in comparison to what's happening in New York, all of the entertainment has been brought to a standstill nationwide, so Debbie is doing her best to support the arts by participating in as many Zoom fundraisers as she can.

She will be part of a Broadway benefit on Monday, April 27th to help The Actors Fund. Check it out at WWW.MONDAYSDARK.COM.

Debbie just returned to the top 10 of the Billboard charts for the first time since 1989 with her dance song "Girls Night Out," and she's super proud of it.

"People try to count you out over and over and over when you start young," she proudly told us. "And I've just like kinda been waiting for a little bit of an 'I told you so moment' I'm not gonna lie."
