Norwegian band a-ha’s iconic, half-animated, debut video for "Take On Me" has officially been remastered in 4K and is approaching 1 BILLION views on YouTube.

a-ha took home a total of six awards for their video at the 1986 MTV VMAs; Best New Artist, Best Concept, Most Experimental, Best Direction, Best Effects, and Viewer’s Choice — and was also nominated for two more; Best Group Video + Video of the Year. "Take On Me" also grabbed a nomination for the Favorite Pop/Rock Video award at the 13th AMAs in 1986.

As the band saw a resurgence over the last few years, the view count for the updated clip is now at a staggering 975,263,525 views -- but the band wants your help to get it to 1 billion!
