She’s Jenny from a new block now: Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé, baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez, have reportedly purchased a new home on the ultra-exclusive Star Island in Miami.

According to TMZ, the famous couple has bought a waterfront estate valued at $40 million.

The home, which sits on a 40,000 square-foot lot, boasts 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, as well as a wine room, library, elevator, and industrial-style chef’s kitchen.

The outside of the home is just as impressive as the inside. Along with an infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, there’s an outdoor bar and seating area, a cabana, a private dock, and a guest house with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two staff rooms.

The home was built in 2003, and was put on the market in May.

The couple, who reside in the Coral Gables neighborhood of Miami with their children, have been spending a lot of quality time at home lately. From at-home baseball clinics to socially-distant bike rides to at-home concerts, the stars have been keeping busy with the family.

The couple was scheduled to have a late summer wedding ceremony in Italy, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, their dream wedding has been put on hold indefinitely, something that the pop star says has left her “heartbroken.”

In a May interview with Today, Lopez shared that “after the Super Bowl and after ‘World of Dance,’ after we finished filming it, I planned to take time off. Which is what we're doing kind of right now, but at the same time, you know, we had a lot of plans for this summer and this year. But everything's kind of on hold right now."

For now, there is no plan in place for a post-pandemic celebration of their union.

"There's no planning right now. You just have to kind of wait and see how this all plays out, and it's disappointing on one level,” shared Lopez.

However, Lopez chooses to have faith that everything will work out.

"I'm a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans. But I'm also like, ‘You know what? God has a bigger plan.’ And so we just have to wait and see. Maybe it's going to be better. I have to believe that it will be,” she said.
