December 11, 2013 5:11 PM

2013 has come and will soon be gone in what feels like the lone skipping of a needle on a record; we noticed it, but are moving on to the next verse. Luckily, WCBSFM.com had the chance to document, create and deliver big news, interesting stories and original content to you all year long and plan to do so again in 2014.

As is with anything in life, you gravitated to some features more than others. Here are the ten most popular stories and features posted to WCBSFM.com this year. Check out the list and be reminded why you just had to click!

New York’s Greatest Artists Of All Time

New Yorkers are sure passionate about music, especially when it comes to artists who were born and raised in our backyard. We asked you to vote for New York’s greatest artists of all time and you swarmed the poll: over 33,000 votes were cast.

The voting was close at the top between Barbra Streisand and Barry Manilow, but just one took the crown.

Causi’s Best Pizza

What else are New Yorkers passionate about? Food, obviously! And pizza is at the top of everyone’s list.

For the third year in a row, “Brooklyn’s Own” Joe Causi asked you to submit and vote for the best pizza in the Tri-state. The voting went down to the wire with the winner taking it all by a margin of 0.02%!

Congrats, Graziella’s in Brooklyn! And be ready next year when we do it all again.

Another Countdown, but for Labor Day!

See what we mean? We all LOVE countdowns. This time, it’s the Top 500 Labor Day Weekend Countdown.

There’s a reason Seinfeld is still in syndication 15 years after it aired its final episode. We shared 15 of them for Jerry’s 59th birthday and you loved it. We’d go as far as to say you think this post was sponge worthy.

Saturday in the Park

Saturday in the Park is one of our biggest events of the year. And thanks to you, the event — starring Huey Lewis and the News — was our most successful to day. Watch the video, look at the photos and relive it all again right HERE.

Is that you, Bob?

Sadly, many of our favorite musicians have passed away at an age far too young. Sachs Media Group answered the question, “What would your favorite rock stars look like today?”

Check out photos of Bob Marley, John Lennon, Janis Joplin and others as they would look today if they were still alive and listen to “Broadway” Bill Lee’s interview with Sachs Media Group HERE.
