Aretha Franklin’s 10 Greatest Songs Of All Time

March 9, 2015 4:33 PM

Any conversation within the realm of “greatest vocalist ever” typically begins and ends with Aretha Franklin. Of course, we will always include the likes of Whitney Houston, Ella Fitzgerald, Mariah Carey, and now Adele in that debate, but there’s no denying the power and presence captured by Franklin’s voice.

18 GRAMMY Awards and a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have certainly cemented the Queen of Soul’s legacy. Some time ago, we commissioned the CBS-FM fans to decide what songs by Aretha Franklin are her greatest and these are the results.
