Sotheby’s auction house in New York City is currently holding an epic gallery auction, called ‘A Rock & Roll Anthology: From Folk to Fury’, featuring, as they call it, ‘a kaleidoscopic survey of the history of rock & roll, pop, folk, and punk.’

We just call it the place we’d like to hang out all day!

The gallery showing and accompanying auction features memorabilia from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Eagles, Bob Dylan & Joan Baez, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, the Beach Boys and countless rare and one of a kind Rock & Roll artifacts.

A highlight of the sale is John Lennon’s John Broadwood & Sons upright piano, on which he composed songs like “A Day in the Life,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” and many others.

Check out photos from WCBS-FM’s visit to the gallery auction below and be sure to watch Scott Shannon’s exclusive tour of all the fantastic items up for sale in the video above.
