According to the Seattle Times, Wilson’s husband, Dean Stuart Wetter, appeared at the King County District Court on Monday (August 29) after being arrested early Saturday morning. His bail was set at $10,000.

Probable-cause documents the newspaper obtained cite that Wetter was first approached by two young family members who were watching the show backstage. The two boys asked if they could see Wilson’s tour bus and Wetter invited them inside. When the boys walked off the bus they left the door open and Wetter allegedly yelled at them and slapped one boy on the back of his head before he punched him “causing him pain and to see stars.”

Documents report that Wetter then grabbed both boys by the throat and for one young man he, “squeezed to the point he could not breathe for about five seconds before letting go.” One of the boys “later complained of a sore, raspy throat, fear of dying and pain in his throat area.”

Wetter is scheduled to make his second appearance in court on Wednesday while Wilson remains on tour.
