TV tributes are lined up in the coming days and we even found out that Whitney may have been in line for a very high-profile gig.

Simon Cowell confirmed on Piers Morgan‘s CNN show Saturday night  that Whitney Houston was most likely going to be selected as a judge for The X Factor. He said there was going to be a meeting today to discuss Whitney as a mentor or judge on the show.

Meanwhile, Glee is scrambling to put together a last minute tribute to Whitney. They already will perform I Will Always Love you on Tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day episode and are looking to add a last second tribute on top of that.

VH1 is having an “A TO Z” video tribute to Whitney starting at noon today and Lifetime will show Whitney’s movie The Bodyguard with Kevin Costner tonight at 8pm.
