Olivia Newton-John is still going strong! She called the Dan Taylor show this morning to talk about three big shows she has coming up in the area!

She has so much going on these days, with two new CD’s, a movie and so much more on the horizon! She even spoke to Dan about her first movie as a 20-year-old, a sci-fi musical?

Olivia’s three big shows coming up this week are at the Bergen PAC in Englewood TOMORROW (12/7), NYCB Theatre at Westbury Thursday (12/8), and Caesars Atlantic City this Friday, (12/9).

Did you know that 2011/2012 marks Olivia’s 40th year in music? Having sold over 100 million albums, with four GRAMMY Awards and numerous People’s Choice, American Music, Country Music Awards, as well as an Emmy for songwriting!

In January 2012, Olivia’s new comedy, A Few Best Men, will premiere in Australia, followed by a worldwide release. The film was created by the director of the hit film Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Imagine Bridesmaids meets The Hangover – with Olivia as the Mother of the Bride!)

A breast cancer survivor (diagnosed in 1992) and cancer free for almost 20 years, The Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre is scheduled to open its doors in 2012 in Melbourne, Australia.

Olivia is currently working on a pop CD of dance remixes of her hits and some new songs for release in 2012 in honor of her 40th year in music.

Olivia’s CD, Portraits: A Tribute to the Great Women of Song has been released in the USA and features songs/artists that inspired Olivia, from Doris Day to Karen Carpenter to Julie London and Dionne Warwick. The album is produced by Phil Ramone.
