It’s that time of year when special programming dominates on TV, and today in particular will be one of those days!

Get details on the 2011 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony that has an all-star musical lineup, the 2012 Grammy nominations show, Don Rickles on the season premiere of Hot in Cleveland and so much more!

First off, season three of Hot in Cleveland premieres tonight at 10pm on TV Land and it’s sure to be a funny one! Betty White’s character “Elka” must choose between three men, her fiance, her ex and Bobby, the husband she thought was dead. Bobby will be played by Don Rickles, who makes his debut on the show!

The 2011 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will be lit for the first time tonight and NBC carries all the coverage starting at 8pm at Rockefeller Plaza

Al Roker hosts the 79th annual event with live performances by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Faith Hill[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Michael Bublé[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Carole King[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Neil Diamond[/lastfm] and the Radio City Rockettes!

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Justin Bieber [/lastfm]will NOT be on site as his performance is pre-recorded and rumors are out there that the President may make an appearance.

Also on tonight, the CW airs A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa at 8pm and CBS has the 2012 Grammy Nominations show at 10pm. All the important categories will be announced with performances by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] and more!
