Sly Stone Is Now Homeless, Living Out Of A Van In Los Angeles

Heartbreaking story coming from the New York Post yesterday, reporting that the legendary Sly Stone is now homeless.

He apparently lives inside a white camper van parked on a residential street in Crenshaw, a rough Los Angeles neighborhood.

This story is tough to comprehend for a man who is a music legend. The story goes on to give detail of a retired couple that makes sure Sly eats once a day, and he even showers at their house.

Inside the van he continues to record music on a laptop and amazingly, Sly tells the Post he likes his new lifestyle:

“I like my small camper,” he says in the article.  “I just do not want to return to a fixed home. I cannot stand being in one place. I must keep moving.”

Read more about this story HERE which is supposedly part of an upcoming re-released documentary coming out later this year.
Let’s remember Sly at the top of his game!
