“The first rock concert I ever saw was The Beatles live at Olympia Stadium in Detroit on September 6th, 1964. Looks like my latest concert will be Saturday night seeing one of the same fellas… that’s quite a span!”

“I’m Down” (B-side of “Help!” single) contains some of the greatest screams in all of rock’n’roll (he has numbers two and three by the way with his screams in “Hey Jude” and “Helter Skelter”).

“From the album Flaming Pie, “Beautiful Night” is an epic song that to me is perhaps his most Beatles-like song. The instrumental “build” in this song is stupendous. An overlooked tune for sure, but it’s pure McCartney at his best.”

“I’d love for him to play this one, just because it’d be such a challenge. He once said it was his favorite Beatles song (in my Top 5 for sure). Not impossible to do actually, but to my knowledge he’s never done it.”

“From the Wings Wildlife album. It’s just always been one of my favorite Paul “solo” numbers.”

Anything from ‘Pet Sounds’

“Paul has said he’s “often listened to Pet Sounds and cried.” Can you imagine Paul doing “That’s Not Me,” “God Only Knows,” or even “Sloop John B?” Now (to quote another McCartney tune) ‘That Would Be Something!'”
